Hi there, This is Bogdan from Romania. I'm a mechanical engineer - specialized in the industrial robotic field, 3D designer and modeler (from time to time and some projects I could make the functional prototype too). I'm doing product design, industrial design, reverse engineering, ideation, etc. I have over 15 years experience working on various systems/devices across multiple industries, from concept to launch. 1 - i will need to know what INP profile are you using for the rail of the hoist 2 - what gap is between the ends of the rails? 3 - as one of the rails needs to feature a displacement, i will need to know if you already have in place the system for this... 4 - best approach for electrical joining is to have a semi-active compliant system with self-centering/aligning 5 - how the movable rail supposed to be driven? (hydraulic, electrical) - the same power source should be used for the latching mechanism too... 6 - do you have the 3d model of the hoist? (or, at least the technical specs/drawings)... we could discuss here all the details (parameters of the system, outcome, final price, time frame, etc) Regards Bogdan
