I am a workflow manager looking for a custom script to help automate a repetitive task. Basically I want to place a large number of files into a folder. Run the script, which would take the first 2500 files (the number of files should be able to be entered into a field when the script runs) and create a .zip file from them. Then create a .txt file with the same exact file name except for the extension. The content of the .txt file is always the same and is only one line in length. After zipping the first set of files, move them to a completed folder and then make a .zip file from the next 2500 files and so on until they are all processed.
