## Deliverables
We have a consumer USB device that supports USB2.0 control of "power on off". the source code is in the public domain, however it needs to be compiled along with a windows version of libusb, for a single windows executable.
usb 2.0 power control is explained here:? [login to view URL]
Source code is here:? [login to view URL]
libusb win 32 is here:? [login to view URL]
the device is this one:? UH204? [login to view URL] by? hawking technology
we will order and send a unit to the winning bid to test to their destination asap.
we wish to have a single windows .exe file that allows us to control the power to the? USB port 1 or 2 via a command line switch / parameter. on running the exe the power to the nominated port on the hub is disconnected. exe can be a window or command line.
Problems to solve
1. compile code and statically link to libusb 2.0. NOT a DLL.
2. understand how the UH204 enumerates the USB
3. can we disconnect the power for a period of time e.g. a number of milliseconds or is it just on / off
