SQL DB From Dataset

***_Task_***: **Create an MS SQLServer/MSDE dB from a DataSet**. 1. The routine for this *Request for Bid* will look at the DataSet(s) of an executing application and save out the info for the specified Dataset(s) as a text or xml file. (See attachment for a simple, partial, generic sample illustration of obtaining the DataSet info, written to the console, rather than to file) 2. The text/XML file of DataSet info will then be used as the input to a script to create a MS SQLServer and/or MSDE datatabase to match the source DataSet. (See attachment.) ***_Compatibility_***: MS SQLServer/MSDE (2000 +), VB.net 2005(CLR 2.0+), VB.net 2003 (CLR 1.1+). Main Focus is on **current** software packages. If the compatatibility shown above causes major extra work and/or problems, it can be reduced/scaled back. ***_My Level of ML SQLServer/MSDE Expertise_*** (inversely determines the UI sophistication I need): 1. My MS SQL/MSDE skill level is very low. A sophisticated UI to simplify the task is a must... eg. necessary lookups/file dialogs to facliitate the objectives are required... a command-line/near-command-line interface is specifically not satisfactory, nor is a UI that that does not use typical Windows UI elements acceptable. 2. Likewise for the distributable script for adding the dB to an existing MS SQLServer installation on a user's machine. 3. Likewise, also, for the addition of the dB to an existing MSDE installation on the user's machine, or installation of MSDE with the dB included, as required. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform Windows 2000 +, VB.net Winforms 2003 (CLR 1.1+) 2005 (CLR 2+)
