The brief project guidelines are as follows 1. Real time stock and commodities data comes in from 1/multiple source in tick format ( the data gathering program might have ability to receive data from multiple sources). Mainly MS Excel would be the data source 2. My workstation processes the data and transmits them to a dedicated server thru the net 3. The data is retransmitted from the dedicated server to clients in tick format. Number of clients could be 500+ ## Deliverables The brief project guidelines are as follows 1. The data is retransmitted from the dedicated server to clients in tick format. Number of clients could be 500+ (Points 2 and 3 are running simultaneously) 1. A client program receives the data and updates charting softwares like Metastock, Amibroker, Tradestation and Advanced GET RT in tick format 2. If the client program gets disconnected or logs in late, the data backfill should be there ( this end has to be very fast, backfill updation will be in 1 min bars) 3. The client program should check for a user id and password on login 7. Updation of data would be in tick for 1 min bars, backfill is of 1 min bars 8. Total number of securities to be updated continuously is 500 ( inclusive of stocks and futures) 9. Based on his access level, the client will receive and update data for 5,50,100 or 500 securities 10. Although not very necessary,if it can be made that the client only receives and updates data for his defined portfolio of securities, that would be great 11. Kindly go through the attached process diagram I can provide licensed versions of the following softwares (RMD server and MSDK). You are although free to make your own approaches RMD server is a tick data server MSDK is a software dev tool that will update Metastock/amibroker/tradestation/adget in real time whatever be the data source <[login to view URL]> <[login to view URL]> The developer should have 1. Proven documented experience in handling projects of this nature 2. Working experience with Metastock/Amibroker/Tradestation and Advanced Get real time data formats and especially MSDK 3. Kindly go through the attached process diagram and bid only if the whole project is clear 4. Project must be delivered within 1 month from start. I am open o both hourly and fixed cost solutions 5. I am open to innovative/alternative approaches
