File Indexer - Custom Index

Win32 dll File Indexer. I need a win32-dll (C++) (api only - no MFC) - that can scan specific files, like *.bas or *.inc, *.c *.h and create an index file for quick searches. Should be fast and efficient! Hash tables are ok, as long the searches are fast. Example Functions: v& = CreateIndex(ByVal sPath As String, ByVal sFileType As String) As Long (The function will maintain what the name of the index or indexs are and if one or more indexes are needed for speed.) v& will return the Index Number - used for this. This number will always be valid - unless the index-number has been requested to be deleted. v& = SearchIndex(ByVal sData As String) As Long v& will return the number hits found. a$ = GetIndexValue(ByVal lngIndex As Long) As String a$ will return the Path & Filename.
