Project Description
I want to launch a shopping e-commerce website which sells handmade product by local environmentally sound producers – where they can login and upload their own products. I have one provider in rural NSW whom produces hemp good for sale (clothing) to be the first test client.
There exists about 43 products to load, 3 or four photos each, and system must support selecting things like clothing size and sometimes colour options. We want option for Pound and US currency options, with automated check-out through paypal or other merchant system.
SSL security will be required also for checkout
I am open to which software to use, and provide or recommend the best options for hosting in both UK and US markets. Preference is PHP as have experience with this, otherwise will look at node.js based system.
OpenCart has been recommended as a flexible system to be customised to allow different logins to upload their own products. Supporting this is critical to the solution
I require someone close to or within our timezone of +8GMT (Perth Australia) to spend at least 2-3 hours per week with us over Skype, and work on this project dedicated least 2 days per week for 6 weeks to complete this work. Milestones payments will be made weekly.
First two weeks will be paid in advance to commence project.
My Budget is ~$9,000. I will be looking at ~AUD$1000 per week for websites developer for 6-7 weeks only, and other funds will be used to hire marketing expert. Website needs to be completed in 6-7 weeks, and working in production (accepting payments)
I believe the process should take no more than 6 weeks to complete, but if desired we are willing to continue at an hourly rate of $55 AUD per hour.
After website working, I would guess help required with SEO also – but will post a new project for that at that time. We will continue continuing using same developer if they have experience in that area also.
Preference is good English speaking and quality Skype telephony for a clear line.
We are looking for an individual with good reputation and history before we aware.
New Freelancers need not apply.
Cheers,
Jason
