Sharepoint Online QuickEdit modification

We are using Sharepoint Online (Office365) and we want to edit existing document libraries to add/change change tags & managed metadata.

The Quick Edit function (as per attached image) has a few limitations that it always updates the Modified Date and the Modified By username to the user making the change.

I have read-up that QuickEdit uses JSLink, and it looks like you can override its CSR functions. It appears by default any read-only share-point fields will render those files as read-only in QuickEdit/jqGrid, even if I am logged in as Admin.

This also includes and issue being able to update the content-type from QuickEdit in Sharepoint 2013 - whilst this was possible in DataTable/View in Sharepoint 2010

I am already aware that it required FULL Privileges to write back Modified BY and Modified Date simply by submitting this values back on update request. I can do this fine in CSOM C# code. I simply want to re-use/customise QuickEdit/jqGrid, but don't have CSR experience to reverse engineer how it working in Sharepoint 2013.

I am looking for someone confident and experienced they can complete the task. QuickEdit support lookups/Managed Meta etc. I am NOT interested in some customer CRUD application based on knockout.js or jQuery that doesn't support all Sharepoint fields types, rather I want to follow the approach Microsoft has take with QuickEdit/jqGrid.

Developer must have own Sharepoint Online account and/or Sharepoint dev 2013 dev box. Everything here should be self explanatory to an the right experienced individual. Please let me know if I am unrealistic on price, but I would guess this if a few hours work to the right individual.

First and full milestone payment will be sent when I see working prototype via Skype, or working example is sent that I can use it on my own Sharepoint online.

Main requirements:

Retain original Modified and the Modified By details when using 'QuickEdit'

Optional extra:

undo the protection where content-type cannot be edited

I believe this could be done in different ways, but will take your recommendations:

1/ Custom JSLink override method to simply add a Script Part to library page

2/ A Webpart (with source code) that achieves the result like QuickEdit/jqGrid

3/ Optionally provide working app add-in Visual Studio project

4/ JavaScript file that is to be uploaded to Sharepoint, and perhaps powershell or C# code to update JSLink field properties to use it.

Cheers,

Jason
