I would like to have a VBscript or Powershell Script to automate multiple active Directory user creation from an excel sheet in the following way: the script should check an excel file every hour or day. The file should contain lot of LDAP attributes of the to be created users. Every line there should be a new user's attributes. The script should also be capable to create mailbox for a user in a way that it checks for the available Exchange mailbox stores,and checks which has the biggest free [login to view URL] should also be able to create a home folder on the storage. This script -if possible- should contain a really simple GUI or interface,where You can specify the username you want to run it as, and to run it manually if needed (so execute,and browse for file buttons) For more details,please ask. Only real experts should bid. The estimate project time should not be more than 2-3 days.

Hi, I'm a System Administrator who started to develop scripts do automate my tasks. I have developed many of them to fit my needs. Just to give an example, one of my file servers was almost full and I had to migrate all personal folders to another server, the problem was that I had almost 3000 users, just editing each account to set a new personal folder would spend a lot of days! So I developed a vbscript to move and setup the new home folder, and the new migration took less than 20 minutes. In your situation, I can develop an Excel Macro to create both Active Directory and Exchange accounts. To be honestly I don’t know yet how to check the Information Store free space, but if you don’t mind, we could use a checkbox to choose in which Information you’d like to create. It could be done also in Vbscript if you want, but I think using just one file is the better way to accomplish this. I create my users this way. I have an active directory domain with exchange installed and I’m able to develop this. Thanks in advance, Leonardo Soares

Dear sir, I am system admin for more than 15 years and working with AD for more than 8 years, we have multiple domains and ad servers .We use AD for broad purpose and we have thousands of users ,contacts and vendors in AD. Can write script in vbs or powershell. Regards, Rahul

Already have done similar job as I have Development and System Admin Skill set. Best if done in Powershell as also supports .Net Framework and can also be intgrated with any other sustom application (I am a MCSE, MCDBA and MCPD)
