To Whom it May Concern, My name is Elyse Jackson, I am a graduate of Brandeis University with a Bachelors in East Asian Studies, and I am a Native English speaking translator and proof reader. For the past couple of months, I have been serving as an English instructor at The University of Science and Technology of China, however I am most passionate about translation. I have used any spare time not teaching English proof reading and translating articles and essays from Chinese to English. I have worked with legal articles, anthropological articles and articles about health and wellness. I also have experience transcribing audio and videos in English. Through my work as a transcriber, I have learned to be detailed and thorough. I am not happy with my work until it is perfect. I have been studying Chinese for six years and have a thorough command over the written and spoken language. I am adamant about this opportunity!
