Do some 3D Modelling and Texturing of a medieval shield with a specific shape on it.

Hello. I have a shield, and a logo, and I now want to place the logo, on the shield as a 3d shape. The shield should also be of a specific type. Now, up to that level I actually have done everything myself. The logo has been digitized as a line shape in a 3ds max, and I already have the basic shield shape I am after. So were you for example to use the cookie-cutter function to get the logo on the shield you could do it fairly easily and in fact, have already done so myself if this helps. What I want to do now, is make the shield more impressive and so actually render like a proper shield (you don't need to do renders, only provide the file). This means using your imagination to add some detail to it. Maybe assembly bolts like some of these old shields seemed to have along the edges. Maybe dirty and grime on it. (this can be done on the texture rather than geometry). This will require some UVW mapping skills, since it does involve making a texture. I also work in 3ds max, so I would preferably like a file in the end that can be opened in it. I would like some texturing on the back side as well, however you don't need to do the straps and/or handles. The shield I am attaching is a good example of the shield type I want as well as an example where a lot of the detail is done in the texture. The logo itself however, as well as the edges of the shield, would have to be geometry. You can use the shield shape I will provide in the file, or if it is easier, make it from scratch.
