IT Support Technician / Managed IT Australian Company

We are an Australian based Managed IT Client. Looking for a online virtual staff member / technical support agent. Needs to have good written and spoken English. Phone support will be required. We are in a +8GMT Time zone and will require a technician from 8.30am - 5pm daily. Summary: These roles are for experienced IT Engineers Skills: (We don’t expect you to have all these skills but some working knowledge is an advantage) Good Understanding of SharePoint Good Understanding of Troubleshooting Office365 Good Understanding of network troubleshooting Good Understanding of server 2008/2012 troubleshooting Good Understanding of Citrix/RDS Good Understanding to VMware Good Understanding of AD/DNS Good Understanding of PABX / Phone systems Good Understanding of backup technologies (Veeam, Symantec, Microsoft DPM) Very strong Active directory skills Knowledge of ticketing systems (connectwise etc) Good understanding of Powershell Job Responsibilities: ​Provide remote support to customer networks in Australia Respond to customer enquiries concerning system software and applications. Document and log all actions into ticketing system. Resolve escalated tickets from lower level engineers. Escalation further if required. Strong communication skills Follow customer issues through to completion to ensure resolution and customer satisfaction has been achieved. Desirable qualifications: MCTS, MCSE, MCSA or equivalent Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) Citrix certified CCNA
