I would like to hire an Unity 3D Developer

We are looking for a C# developer to join the Development Tools team. We are currently creating the Arena Live software package which will allow game developers to customize force-feedback patterns with the Arena Infinity blaster. The duration of the job is through the entire development process of the Arena Live Unity Plugin (with the potential for continuation into future aspects of Arena Live.) [login to view URL] Remote work is available provided the applicant can communicate effectively through email, skype, and phone and be available for communication every day for a minimum of one hour during the hours of 9AM – 5PM CST Monday through Friday. Greater availability is desirable. Responsibilities • Familiarize yourself with the current Unity Plugin project and understand the architecture and design patterns in use • Produce fully functional C# code which is easily understood and maintainable, fits precisely into the existing application, and implements the requirements of the project • Create and execute your own tests of all code produced • Ensure the software is compatible with all customer platforms • Consider and conceive of possible use cases, tackling software creation from the viewpoint of what the user needs • Consider, and in some cases, implement the software from a front-end or GUI viewpoint. Skills • Proficient in C# and familiar with its ecosystems • Ability to produce clean, efficient C# code which is easily understood by other project members • Ability to read C# code and understand its operations • Familiar with Unity game engine and the Unity Editor • Familiar with various design patterns and architectures • Able to produce C# code compliant with chosen patterns and architectures • Able to work on all aspects of the project from the GUI to the backend • Familiar with file systems and file I/O best practices, especially practices which will distribute without error into customers’ Unity projects • Familiarity with Windows system operations, particularly COM port communications
