Dear Sir/Madam,
This sounds like a really interesting project, that I would love to get into both for work and personal reasons. Using Python on microcontrollers sounds amazing.
I placed this bid mainly in the hope that we can get in contact and discuss this project in more detail.
I have not extensively investigated the source code of the Micropython OS yet - this bid is just a very rough guess. I can imagine the bid coming down in price, depending on the complexity of the Micropython OS and the Synapse module. I will base my final bid on a rate of 25 USD/hour.
I am sure I am suitable for this project in terms of skillset. I have only just started looking at online freelancing, but I feel that my previous experience is quite perfect for the job. Here's a summary - if you're interested, I will send you a full resumé.
- Two years experience of working as an embedded engineer on mainly ST ARM Cortex-M0-based embedded systems. During this time, I wrote plenty of peripheral driver code for various peripherals.
- Countless personal (hobbyist) and smaller paid projects involving various MCU's, including different ARM processors.
- Fervent user of Python for all kinds of personal programming projects.
I realize that since I only recently joined freelancer.com, my profile description is not yet 100% complete. To really get into detail, both about me and about the project, I hope you will be interested in doing a Skype call.
Kind regards,
Sander Vocke
