Client's Business Overview: Our client operates a business focused on collecting used inkjet cartridges, which are then returned to suppliers for reimbursement. Requested Updates: Homepage Button Additions: Under the section titled “how to get onboard” on the homepage, add three new interactive buttons: a. Create an Account b. Order New Boxes c. Collection of Boxes The conceptual designs for these forms are provided in image format. Form Functionality and Processes: a. Create an Account: Purpose: To allow new users to register on the website. Function: Upon completion, the form should: • Create a new user in the WordPress database using the form details. • Automatically generate a unique company number. • Email the registration confirmation and details to both the new user and the site administrator. b. Order New Boxes: Availability: This form should be accessible only after a user has successfully created an account and is logged in. Function: When the form is completed: • Capture and store the form details on the site. • Send a confirmation email of the order details to the customer and the site administrator. c. Collection of Boxes: Availability: Similar to "Order New Boxes," this form should only be available to logged-in users. Function: Upon form completion: • Send a confirmation email about the collection details to both the customer and the site administrator. Backend Features: a. Stock Check-in: • Allow admins to select a client and register stock received. • Create a set of unique barcodes to be printed on an A4 sheet. • Provide functionality for admins to: • Log into the backend. • Select a specific client. • Scan the corresponding barcodes to register received items. • Store the scanned items' data in the website's database. b. Reporting: • Create reporting features to provide insights into the received ink cartridges/toners. • Reports should be capable of breaking down data based on: • Type of ink cartridge or toner. • Brand of ink cartridge or toner. • The time period in which items were received.
