Extension of Content Managament System

The project shall extend an open source, java-based content management system (CMS) such as PHP-Fusion, Joomla or Drupal with key functionality to deliver an exceptional customer experience, and integrate this capability with payment services (PAYPAL), advertising services, travel booking services (Expedia), book purchasing (Amazon) and map services (Google Maps). The aim of this project is to deliver a live, functioning website to demonstrate the commercial viability of an online travel guide concept that allows experienced travelers to submit articles and share them with a community. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) The website user interface can be replaced at a later date, if required, without impacting on the core functionality of the Content Management System (CMS) c) The website user interface and content will be written in such a way as to be compatible with mobile phone browsers and for export via xml feed. d) The website user interface will be accessible via Mozilla FireFox, Safari and Internet Explorer. e) The website and CMS must use free, open source software as the basis including standard Java, MySQL, PHP-Fusion or Drupal. f) The developer will develop site on their own server and provide access to the site, with updates every 3 days, during development to help in understanding the progress and to provide feedback. g) The developer shall install and configure all base software and extensions on a server of our choice upon completion. h)The developer shall provide software documentation to enable future developers to further extend the capabilities. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
