PHP / JQuery / SQL / rank "box" dynamic (without page reload)

Hi, Here it's the thing I wish : I want something like a box or window who will create a rank of elements. Each element will be represented by a block, can be a div, or a table, so an html element. Each block will have various informations related to it and catch into sql data, most of them will be used printed over the background of the block for exemple. This box will rank each element by the number of points they have (or ranked by any another sql data). The rank is dynamic without reload, that mean, if we keep the browser without reloading the page, we can see each block changing their rank and moving to the place of the corresponding rank. This rank box will include 100 elements, or any number we can set into a dynamic filter or setting. It will be possible to filter thoses elements showed in the box by various way like keyword, or date, etc Las important thing, the 1st element of the rank will take 4x4's normal element width and height, the 2nd element of the rank will take 3x3 's normal element width and height and the 3rd element of the rank will take 2x2's normal element width and height.
