Need script to keep track of all my articles/web sites contents/newsletters/press releases
...etc. It should be done in PHP, MySql. The script should be simple without any underlying
PHP libraries/systems(like Zend..etc). Should work on Linux/Windows.
The database should contain the following information: "ARTICLE TITLE", "CATEGORY1"
(articles/web sites contents/newsletters/press releases..etc),
"CATEGORY2" (ex. health, food, ... etc), "SUBCATEGORY" (it should depend on category2 - will
explain later), "WHERE PLACED" (ex. ezine, website name/address, blog...), "CLONED"? (is it clone of any article
on net?), "COPYSCAPE PASSED"? and of course "ARTICLE" itself.
## Deliverables
Article depository system
--------------------------
Need script to keep track of all my articles/web sites contents/newsletters/press releases
Some examples:
Category1: (pull down menu - default 'draft')
articles
newsletters
press release
Category2: (pull down menu - default 'uncategorized')
Car
Subcategories:
Buying car
Fixing DIY
..etc
Beer
Subcategories:
Making your own beer
Types of beers
..etc
Where_Placed
etc..
When entering/editing article I should be able to select/modify category1, category2, subcategory
and where_placed from pull down menus (populated from tables - maintained from admin
interface). Depending on category2 the different set of subcategories should be available in
pull down menu. (Ajax ??)
Then check (radio buttons) "CLONED" and "COPYSCAPE PASSED".
It should be all on one screen which has also "[login to view URL]" article creating/editing interface.
The admin interface should allow me to add/modify/delete categories/subcategories.
(be aware of non-empty categories/subcategories and resolve them accordingly).
Also it should allow me overwrite any info about article (any DB entries) and of course edit the article.
Now - the first thing I see when login to the script is a table with all the fields and expendable article field.
Article should be stored in DB. The screen should also have an option to sort by cat2, cat1, subcats, ...etc.
I think that for the begining it should work for me but of course it will grow (automate some tasks for example..).
Please make the script as modular as possible. Have a separate modules/functions for every task.
And let me know if need some more clarification.
Thank you,
