joining databases between 2 different scripts

We have a site built from the Dolphin CMS (mysql and php), we recently had someone install ilance but they didn't join the databases like they were paid to do. What we need is to have the dolphin members to become instant ilance members. At present dolphin is running off one database and ilance is running from another both at the same server and both being mysql.
