Working with a string of XML and a datagrid

Hi, Here is what I need in an asp.net page using XML and VB.NET: 1) When the page loads, a string of XML in a session is checked. If found, it needs to be bound to a datagrid control (more on this later). Here is an example of the string of XML: <SpecialDates> <SpecialDate> <Date>1/1/2005</Date> <Amount>100</Amount> </SpecialDate> <SpecialDate> <Date>1/2/2005</Date> <Amount>200</Amount> </SpecialDate> </SpecialDates> 2) The session also needs to be checked for the total of all "Amount" values. If the value is equal to an amout on the form in a textbox called "MaximumTotalAmount", hide the submit button. Also, each record in the datagrid needs to have a LinkButton to delete existing records form the XML string. When clicked, it removes this node from the XML string and rebinds the XML to the datagrid. 3) If the submit button is present, the user can then enter more date/amount records, but only up to the value from the textbox "MaximumTotalAmount" and the date must be between the start and end date in the textboxes on the form. If the date supplied is not within the start and end date, an error is displayed for the user. This also needs to check to make sure that there are no duplicate dates and the date and amount values are valid. 4) Once the total from all XML records equals the "MaximumTotalAmount", hide the submit button and the row that holds the 2 textboxes for new entries. I have attached a zip file with an HTML web page with a visual representation of what I need along with details at the bottom of the page. Although the HTML file shows regular controls, all asp.net server controls will be used. TextBox, Buttons and Panels need to be used. Contact me with any questions.
