I have a good understanding of event-driven programming and probabilistic programming. I do believe your final system would not work properly if you do not follow the event-driven paradigm in your backend and do encourage you to put some effort on applying machine learning on the production price calculation to lower required processing power , otherwise as you know, if you are given to process many parts at the same time, the tradeoff of having a responsive online system would investing a lot in your underlying infrastructure (Does not matter if it is an IaaS or VPS). I could help you in any of the matters mentioned above. I should emphasize I am not a full stack developer, meaning I am not good at frontend, But I can assure you, you will have a solid, efficient and responsive backend at the end.
