I need a new website. I need you to design and build it. Build a website that allows users to calculate the value of a used car and then compare that against their current PCP finance settlement figure. Users would have to enter their finance deal terms including balloon payment, deposit, interest rate, PCP term and monthly payments for the settlement figure to be calculated. Users would have to enter the car details or automatically find them using the number plate, enter the odometer mileage and general condition (excellent, good, poor) for the cars worth to be approximately calculated. The system would then compare the values to tell the user whether they are in negative or positive equity. Any positive equity can be used as a deposit for a new car hence this is useful to the car owner. PCP finance products are supposedly designed such that equity is zero at the end of the finance term (car value = settlement value). In reality you are normally left with positive equity (car value > settlement value) as the finance provider wants you to buy another car. For the majority of the term the PCP is in negative equity. The 'tipping point' at which the equity switches from negative to positive equity is the point at which the car can be upgraded with a new PCP deal without incurring significant extra costs. This may occur many months (even years) before the end of the finance term. Once users have created an account the website would periodically check the equity status of their PCP deal and email the user to inform them of any changes, particularly if they have moved into positive equity and can upgrade their car. Users can manage multiple PCP deals in their account. This would initially be for UK cars only. Flat, simple, clean design, fast, using bootstrap or simular. Look forward to hearing from you all.
