I'm looking to build a professional, long-term relationship with an experienced editor/writer in creating fiction (mystery, suspense, thriller) What will you be writing? - Approximately 5000 word (approx.. 50 pages) ebook dealing with fictional mystery/thrillers - I am looking to create a trilogy of short books (to begin with) - The first book is largely complete which will help inform the rest of the series, I am looking forward to working with someone to complete the first book and see how the process works - I have a good outline for books 2 and 3 - I enjoy strong characters (male and female) and plenty of twists to keep the reader interested Skills required - Fluent English speaker with an understanding of US English in particular (the market I am targeting) - Willing to undertake (some) research to fact check the geographic area the books are based in/add some depth to the stories - Excellent grammar and punctuation skills - Dedicated and focused to get the job done - Good communication and reliable – I am looking for regular communication to ensure we are all on the same page which will help us feel our way through the process - Trustworthy, someone who delivers what they say they will What do I expect - No plagiarism please it will be checked via the usual online services - Ideally 1 to 2 weeks completion time from when the work is assigned unless specified otherwise (per book) - Good quality content with minimal punctuation or grammar errors - Be creative and original – create content in your own way within the structure of the story outline - Frequent communication – we will discuss the direction and development of the work - Please provide examples of your current work Payment - Fixed price (please include your fixed rate in the application) - Depending on the complexity and length of the content, pay will be determined - Payment will be paid in milestones or at completion - Once initial payment is made, I receive full copyright and credit for the project received I would like to get to know my writer personally and work together to create great content. As long as my writer gives me quality work in a timely manner, I will give them consistent work.
