I need an R script that will extract data from a range of columns and rows in one csv file ([login to view URL]) and paste it to a new csv file ([login to view URL]) in a different format.
The data in [login to view URL] file is listed in 12 columns (columns H-S) relating to months with each column having a different number of rows depending on the number of days in the month. I need to extract this data and paste it one single column (column D) in [login to view URL] taking into consideration the number of days per month so that there are no breaks in the data.
I have provided samples of the [login to view URL] and [login to view URL] files. These files are also available as Excel files but I believe R is better at dealing with .csv files.
Each input file will have it's own unique output file.
I would like to automated the process to deal with multiple input and output files.
Along with the script I would like the names of R packages and libraries that need to be installed to run the script. Ideally, written explanations will be provided to explain what each part of the code is doing.
