I have some work, in an Excel spreadsheet. I have designed an excel spreadsheet with 300 employees covering 7 days on one tab. There are multiple columns I need to fill in ie job description/hours worked etc (about 10 columns for each day per employee). Can you run a macro that only shows employees that has data entered (note: the first 2 out of the 10 columns of each of the 7 days are always filled in) Keeping in mind this is duplicated over 7 days. So it needs to show the employees with any data (1-7 days). If not, can you run a macro that generates a new tab that shows the lines (employees) with data entered in columns (x7) category called total hours? And can you highlight if a column named job description or a column named job is blank when the same line shows data in another column?

Greetings! It is possible to achieve your first objective - only showing employees that has data entered. Also, it is possible to highlight column based on data in another column. I understand your requirements and can do the needful. Please share the file. Being a full time freelancer working exclusively on Excel based projects, I work on developing macros every single day. Hi there - I would love to take a look at your sheet, it sounds like you may not need a macro but some advanced filtering (possibly with some formulae in there to help out). However if you wish the employees without data to be moved this can definitely be done with a macro. The highlights are achievable as well using conditional formatting; but from reading your job it sounds like it could work better for you instead if the highlighted cells auto-populated in this case. Hello, I can change cell colours, filter out or remove rows, relocate rows which need data filling out etc. For any of the members which hit specified criteria. So if you want to highlight rows where some data is missing, or just the missing cells, and filter out complete rows etc. I can do that. The macro would be created in VBA and then executed through a button I would add. Please let me know if you have any further questions. Thanks Arran
