Job Instructions: Thank you for your help! I would like you to please populate the attached Excel spreadsheet for every veterinary hospital, veterinary clinic and animal hospital in three specific counties in California. As you can see from the Excel template, the information I need scraped from the web includes 12 fields/columns per business: - Veterinary Hospital Name - Street Address - City - State - Zip Code - Phone Number - URL - Owner or Top Vet - Office Manager or Hospital Administrator - Weekday Business Hours - Saturday Business Hours - Sunday Business Hours Below are the steps that should lead to the creation of a successful list: 1 – Select a county from the three tabs at the bottom of the Veterinary Lead Generation Excel template. For example, San Mateo County, CA. 2 – Search the Internet for every zip code in that county: For example, the first tab on the spreadsheet is San Mateo County, CA - start by doing a web search on Google for “every zip code in San Mateo County”. You can confirm from multiple sources that there are 63 zip codes in San Mateo County, CA. 3 – Populate the Veterinary Lead Generation Excel spreadsheet with every zip code in that county. For example, the previous Internet search shows that San Mateo County contains 63 zip codes (94002 thru 94409). Go to the San Mateo County, CA tab in the Excel spreadsheet and enter all 63 zip codes under Column E. 4 – Once you have every zip code listed in column E, move through the zip codes one at a time and populate the Excel spreadsheet with every veterinary clinic and/or animal hospital in each zip code. For example, by searching for Veterinary + “94002” on Google Maps, you can see that there are 5 veterinary offices located in that the zip code 94002 in California: San Francisco Equine, Inc., Wise & Wonderful Veterinary, Sound Solutions Veterinary Services, Cloninger Ashton DVM and Belmont Pet Hospital. All 5 of those business appear to be veterinary businesses, so you can add all of them to your list. 5 – Fill in as many of the 12 columns as you can for each veterinary hospital (one veterinary hospital per row). 6 – Repeat this process until you are confident that you have scraped data on every veterinary hospital or animal clinic in each zip code in the county. Note: Please be careful to only list businesses that are actual veterinary services companies. For example, searching Veterinary + “94005” on Google Maps shows seven businesses, but none of them are veterinary businesses, so you would not include any of them. Veterinary + "94010" on Google Maps results in 5 businesses, but only THREE of them are actually veterinary clinics. So you would only fill in the data on those three.
