My practice is in the process of devising a program capable of: 1) Extracting information from a database containing PDF Images of business cards; and 2) Extracting information from a database containing details of a Filing Index in both Word and Excel formats. Before the successful candidate is retained, he or she is expected to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) and he or she must agree that upon completion of the tasks, the intellectual property of the written programs will belong to my practice. Preference will be given to applicants who are able to provide evidences confirming their experience in writing similar programs. In this connection, if copies of previous portfolio are going to be attached, we would strongly advise the applicants to block out the names and other sensitive data for reason of confidentiality. Applicants who do not receive a response from us within 1 week may consider that the job has been given to another candidate. We shall not be writing separately to advise the result of application individually. The following points are relevant: 1) we need the program done within one week; and 2) applicants must be prepared for honest comments from us regarding quality of their work and not to expect us to provide untrue assessment in our feedback to Freelancer.
