Edit and Reformat a Word Document - Fast and Easy Project

Here's what I need. <p> This should take no more than an 1-2 hours for someone who's fast on a keyboard and has a basic understanding of Word. Please have MS Word 2002 or greater to avoid any kind of compatibility issues. And by fast, I mean 60 words per minute. <p> I have a 163 page word document. It's a book that has been scanned into Word. Right now the margins are: <p> Top: 1 inch Left: 3.3 inches Right: 3.49 inches Bottom: 0.5 inches <p> I need this word doc to be formatted correctly so the top, left, right, and bottom margins are all equal at 1 inch. ## Deliverables Here's what I need. <p> This should take no more than an 1-2 hours for someone who's fast on a keyboard and has a basic understanding of Word. Please make the Table of Contents title page 12 bold font with each listing and page number 12 point font non-bolded. <p> Chapter headings need to be 16 font arial bold. <p> Any subheadings/subchapters/subsections need to be 12 point font arial bold please. <p> All text needs to be Arial 12 point font. <p> Bold all chapter and subheadings to help separate the different sections. Chapter and any subheadings need to be 12 point size and Arial. <p> If there are any graphics, images, or pictures, simply center them in the middle and move on. <p> If there is an Index of any kind in the back of the book, delete the whole thing as it is not necessary or needed. <p> I have found it useful sometimes to use the "Clear Formatting" option in word. <p> Paragraphs should be no more than 4 lines, 5 lines maximum as anything bigger makes it hard to read on the computer. 1-3 lines of text per paragraph is preferred whenever possible. <p> No indentations on the paragraphs. <p> Do not worry about any spellings, grammar or anything else related to these areas. Do not worry about proof reading either. <p> Do not worry about any header or footer information. <p> At the top of each page in italics are the original words of the book and the page number that was scanned along with everything else. I need to have this deleted as it isn't going to correspond correctly with the new digital version. <p> Keep the chapter numerical characters the same. If Roman numerals or Arabic numbers are used for the chapter numbers, please leave them as they are. <p> I am attaching an example of another Word document I recently modified and formatted so you can understand exactly what I am talking about. <p> Please use this as a guideline for formatting the book I need done for this project. <p> If you know what you are doing, this should be a quick and easy project to make a little cash. If you have any questions please ask before bidding on the project. <p> After completing the first ten pages, I would like you to email me here on Rentacoder with what you currently have completed as a mini-update. <p> After 1 hour's worth of work, I'd like you to email me with what you currently have as a half-way done update. <p> After this, please finish the work and post accordingly on RAC. I'd like to have this completed within the next 12-24 hours if possible. Short and fast project. <p> The whole point of this project is just to make the document look clean and formatted properly.
