Hi I am an electronics and communication engineer.I have been working in the area of embedded systems, robotics for last 6 yeas. i have done similar project of detection of hand (finger) orientation with different approaches including IMU base tracking, image processing based approach, flex sensor based approach. As per my understanding for your project flex sensor based detection of finger orientation(all five) will be best. I shell provide the arduino code and connection diagram. Do you need the actuation signals of the robot arm to be generated from arduino.I can do that too. Please discuss in chat for more details. Thank you.
