We currently use Dropzone file uploader with a presigned PUT URL to send a large file to our Digital Ocean Spaces bucket using XHR. I have tried to use chunks but I can't get it to work. We would like to find a faster way for our users to upload. Specifically, I think using asyncronous chunks and retrying a chunk on network failure would help. We don't have to use Dropzone - if something else is better then we can use that. We would like a progress bar and status field. The status field is one of: (waiting for file select) Uploading xx % Connection lost. Retrying...

I am interested in this project. I am expert in javascript and php backend coding. I have understood your project, I have recently finished few aws projects and a dropzone project as well. In your case to upload large files we can use alternate repository which we can discuss over chat. That will divide the files in chunk and then try to upload.

hi there dropzone uses synchronised approach to upload a file. have you tried filepond? it upload file in async manner also you can use chunk upload. contact me we will discuss more in the chat. thank you.
