Answering Machine Detection

---*** FINALIZED REQUIREMENTS FOR LAUNCH ***--- We require an answering machine detection software module. The module will be primarily used for detection of events related to answering machines: (i) detect the presence of an answering machine (80% accuracy withn 3 seconds., 90% accuracy within 6 seconds) (ii) detect the end of answering machine message announcement where message from caller to be recorded can be started. (iii) The detection must work for Landline phones, mobile phones and Internet Phones The requirement for the module are as below: 1) C/C++ with a COM API for control/events to/from our application 2) The module should receive a wav stream as input 3) The module will sit in the windows kernel. We can explore a windows service as well. The following events are required at least: (i) the event "ANS MC DETECTED" with event data "true" or "false" must arrive in time T after detection is initated. (ii)the event "ANS MC START RECORD" must arrive when playback of announcement and tone ends and message to be recorded can be started. (iii) the event "ANS MC END RECORD" may arrive when the answering machine stops recording or the call disconnects. (iv) the event "ANS MC USER PICKUP" may arrive when the user picks up phone and starts speaking. This event should arrive only when the detection module previously sent "ANS MC DETECTED" with data set to "true". (v) the event "ANS MC IVR" must arrive instead of "ANS MC END RECORD" when the answering machine prompts the caller to save the message or discard or modify it rather than disconnecting the call or playing end tone. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform XP/2000
