Access 2007 Scheduling Predictor

The purpose of this project is to produce a Student Information System that can compare a master course list to a list of courses already taken and produce a report that will show which courses to offer based on a minimum number of students per course. The data is imported from an Excel spreadsheet each term containing a list of students and the courses they have taken up until that point. That list is compared against a list of courses the student needs to take to graduate, and the report that will be generated will show a list of courses to offer that will have more than 6 students in each course. ## Deliverables Our current student body is around 2,000 students. The programs all vary in size with the largest having a student body of 1,100 and the smallest having 300 students. The list of classes grows each year, so the master course list needs to be expandable. The program can be web based, or reside within an Access 2007 database. I understand the limitations of both. There will only be 4 end users of this system, and in the event it is contained within an Access DB, I will host the DB on a shared server.
