I need a batch script (runs in a DOS BOX); let me know the cost and time for you to finish this.
The script must function as follows
1. Run in a dos box on a Windows 2000 or later system
2. Add a path statement “c:\scripts?? to the system settings (registry or otherwise)
3. Set up an ODBC System DSN in the ODBC configuration for the connection string as follows.
4. This can be done in Perl, DOS Batch or VB Script ??" but must be runtime ready as is (I own Perl2exe)
Connection information is
use Win32::ODBC;
$DSN = "DSN=SSASVR1;UID=sa;PWD=123;";
# connecting to database server
$dbh = new Win32::ODBC($DSN) or die "Can not connect to database ".Win32::ODBC::Error();
Error checking that states a message with a problem making the settings
The code MUST be clear; simple in a well lay out program; this script should be only several lines of code.
Let me know if you need anything further to make a ‘ready to run’ DOS batch program.
Let me know the cost and time for you to finish this.
