ASP, SQL Server search pages, User management

Design and implementation of an ASP/SQL Server infrastructure to support searching by keyword, categories etc. User management is also required. Users need to be able to register onto the site, check their account status, modify account etc. We will be responsible for supplying the core SQL Server db structure and will liase with you as to modifying the model further to incorporate the new features. Products should are placed into broad categories which can be further refined into sub categories. Each product can also have keywords assigned to it so that searches will be able to match product to keyword. Programmer will have extensive knowledge of ASP, client script (prefer Java but VB is ok), SQL Server, good client/server practises, Previous experience is a must. You must be able to give online examples of your work. We are working to a very tight deadline on this so preference will be given to coders who can do the job quickly. However please do not underestimate the job. It would be wiser not to take it on than deliver late! Solution must be implemented using Visual Interdev. Our goal is to have our entire site as in Interdev project which can be uploaded to our servers easily and allow easy and quick changes. Role will involve some consultancy with us as as this is not our area of expertese. This consultancy will be limited to simple questions regarding architecture etc. We are looking to learn from you also. ## Deliverables Visual Interdev project ASP code, HTML pages etc. Basically everything we need to extend the functionality of our site. ## Deadline information Maximum 2 weeks.
