A cheap tDCS anti-depression device, plans included.
About (Wikipedia) : Transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS) is a form of neurostimulation which uses constant, low current delivered directly to the brain area of interest via small electrodes. It was originally developed to help patients with brain injuries such as strokes. Tests on healthy adults demonstrated that tDCS can increase cognitive performance on a variety of tasks, depending on the area of the brain being stimulated. It has been utilized to enhance language and mathematical ability, attention span, problem solving, memory, and coordination.
I have depression and am poor - my household income is only about £12,000 per annum. To combat my depression I want a tDCS device. I found one online for the sum of $39.95 (USD) here [login to view URL] but though I'd post it as a job on this site for any electronics engineer who can make one for less than 40.00 USD they charge on [login to view URL], I'm British and would like a UK engineer mainly to minimise postal charges. $40.00 in UKP is about £25.00. I was pleased with a TENS machine that treated pains I had, so I thought i'd try electrical stimulation for my depression. You (the electronics engineer) will not be responsible for the device not relieving my depression, it's purely experimental.
OK, using Google I found the plans for a homemade device, here : [login to view URL] - can you make this for less than £25.00 (sorry to be a cheap skate, but in my financial position I have to be!
Thanks!
I have worked 12 years in electronics and developed a lot of devices such as skin analyzers, sleep instruments, dc-dc converters... I understand you and I will help you to make the tDCS device, but I want to know how much it takes for express. I am sure I will complete your project on time.
