Greetings, An interesting and involved project indeed. It's and end to end product design - involves sensors, embedded systems, circuits, ergonomics, mechanical design, WiFi/BT, web programming. I have got good expertise with most of these areas. Please see my profile for details. However to be honest - I am not an expert in ergonomics or mechanical design - though I do understand those well. So I think I can assist you in getting a MVP of this product. But it would certainly require more discussion in scoping out on what all has to go in the MVP and expert inputs from somebody on your side on ergonomics and mechanical feasibility of the physical parts. This is my initial bid only and based on the scope we finalize - will update the bid accordingly. Also it does not include any hardware cost involved - that can be on actual. This project is probably best accomplished using a number of strain gauges placed inside a padded chair, as well as under each foot. A microcontroller would then be used to read the strain values and log the results. You can then go one of two ways: The microcontroller could operate over a USB link and send logged data to a small application running on a nearby PC. The application would assimilate the data and then act as a local web server over a predefined port to display the sitting position graphically. OR The microcontroller could interface to a Wifi module and act as a web server itself to display the data.
