Develop Electronic LED Drivers and Related Products

We are interested in hiring on contract base, a senior level power electronics engineer, highly experienced in the design and development of electronic (switched-mode) LED drivers (10+ years experience). Engineer must be experienced in not only the power design aspects of LED drivers, but also in software and firmware design, MCU applications and design, and the various control and communication protocols, such as Zigbee and other solid state lighting industry standards. Additionally, candidate must be very well versed in safety/regulatory requirements, such as UL, FCC, Energy Star, and other global LED driver and solid state lighting standards. We will also consider established engineering firms, as a possible alternative. Candidate must be willing to collaborate with overseas Chinese engineers and other company staff, as part of the product development process, to ensure successful and timely market delivery. Some travel abroad may be required. Engineer may be located/reside anywhere in the USA, and is not location specific.
