18 years experience post graduation 9 years of experience was specifically as Area Engineer then Traffic Engineer for Oklahoma DOT in which I designed many road repair project including estimates for the projects. Projects typically ranged from $100,000 to $2.5 million. I used quantity of bid items and proximity of project to resources to tweek my bids. I got very good at accurately estimating in Oklahoma. I don't think it's relevant, but I am not a licensed PE in Louisiana or Colorado. I have retired my Texas license.
