Automated control for windows program

**Brief description:** > Your task will be to write a litte tool to receive inputs > from a HID over USB, interprete this data and send it > as keyboard events to an standard windows application. > **Detailed description of the project:** We will build a new hardware controller, which will simplify the use of a programm with many UI controls and input field. The hardware will be realized as HID and sends its data over USB. The application runs a LUA VM, which interprete the data an send it via callback to the remote application via keyboard key events. (compare to AutoHotKey) * * *? * * * **Your tasks:** * write a little tool in C/C++ (Visual C++ preferred) * receive periodical data from a HID (format not yet specified, use a standard joystick instead) * send this data over a callback to a LUA VM (you dont need to write LUA scripts) * write some functions to send keyboard events to a specific window * write some functions to manipulate UI element (via ControlSetText) ## Deliverables 1) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Employer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the employer on the site per the worker's Worker Legal Agreement). 2) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 3) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Employer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Worker in ready-to-run condition in the Employer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the employer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this project. ## Platform Windows XP, Vista, 7
