This project paper describes the chemical vapor deposition (CVD) method to produce nitrogen doped multi walled carbon nanotubes (N-CNTs) and determine the types of nitrogen incorporation in the carbon nanotubes. N-CNTs were synthesized by CVD method by using pyridine and ammonia at 8000C temperature. X ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) was used to determine the nitrogen type structure that incorporates in multi walled carbon nanotubes.
