I would like to introduce myself to you so that you are aware of the range of skills and experience that I could offer to your organisation. Currently I am completing my BSc Degree in Mechanical Engineering at Derby University. During my degree I have worked for the University as a Student Liaison Officer as well as starting and running my own engineering online design company to help individual inventors build prototypes and CAD models. My main strengths and experience include: • Working within a team to deliver quality results E.g. I have been working with team of students developing a hyper mileage car, where my role is leading the conversion of a gasoline engine to ethanol engine and all the electrics. The car will be competing at the London shell eco marathon in June 2016. • My design company lets me work directly with none technical clients helping them move from idea to full manufacturing prototype. This allows me to demonstrate my excellent organisation and communication skills. • I am very driven to deliver high quality results. I use my passion for engineering and constant self-improvement to ensure I exceed key targets. Whilst taking my BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Engineering I won an academic award for achieving 100% of the criteria in all my assignments. • I am also working on some of my own inventions, and currently I am preparing some final designs to take through to Patent stage.
