I scripted many apps that integrate Excel with Yahoo's Finance API. Please refer to my Portfolio section for a reference project. In addition I have integrated python code with Excel as would be required for this project. Since May 2017, Yahoo financial has terminated its EOD data download service. To access the API requires passing a cookie crumb which can be recovered by using python code. I propose to build your app in VBA and python within an Excel / Windows OS environment. Hello, I can write an Excel VBA macro to get Yahoo historical data for listed tickers. The link structure which You presented is used in one of my macros, so I can confirm it works with properly generated crumb. As I understand, in 1st worksheet all tickers would be listed and it would be up to the user to keep them updated. I would place there a button to clear old data (including tickers) and populate with new on other sheets. I picture it, that there would be 4 other worksheets: daily prices, monthly prices, daily returns and monthly returns. Best Regards
