Image segmentation with MATLAB

My full project is with regards to medical tablet identification using MATLAB. For now, I will need a freelancer who will be able to help me with colour identification/image segmentation as part of my full project. The desired end goal for this part of the project will be to have a code that will be able to detect “white” coloured tablets taken with different lightings. No interface is required yet. Freelancer will be provided with 50 image samples to work out the range of white colour for each of the picture. Eg. Tablet1’s “darkest” white is 0xa6a6a6, and Tablet50’s “brightest” white is 0xf2f2f2. [I’m using hexa colours as an example but I believe MATLAB doesn’t use hexa for colours] After the above is done for all 50 tablets, we need to determine the range of colours that will be be “seen” as white by the software. Eg. Darkest White from all tablets is 0x999999 and brightest white from all tablets is 0xFFFFFF. I will be able to upload images of a NEW tablets using I=imread(“[login to view URL]”), and the codes will produce text of “White” or “Not white” depending if the image’s colours generally falls within the range Eg. 0x999999 and 0xFFFFFF. This is colour/image segmentation part of my full project, shall be due 05 Nov 0200Hrs (GMT+8). Because it’s urgent, the price is slightly negotiable. There will be advancement of my project using other details of the tablets such as shape, markings on tablets etc. in Jan-June 2019. I will prefer Freelancers who is able to communicate well in English as I may approach the same Freelancer for subsequent parts of the project if required. Thank you.
