I want somebody to teach me how to create a custom objective and evaluation function for XGBOOST. Currently, I am using softmax and soft prob on a binary problem. The results are great, but it doesn't serve my purpose. I want the model to be penalized equally for each incorrect decision, but I want it rewards differently for each correct decision. The reward is based on a factor that is in another dataframe. I am new to python (3-4 months experience), but have managed to do quite a bit. Looking for somebody to teach me how to do this via screen sharing, not do it for me. Looking to start today!
