Hi, If you want to scan and export a file or do it whenever the log comes into that file. I would recommend you to use logstash tool. Logstash is an opensource tool which can be used to track the live logs and dumpling into sqlite, thereby you dont have to use anything in cron or script, its a daemon, a service which will be running everytime on your server and pushing the contents into sqlite. If you can attach a file, I can come up with a demo. Note: This requires logstash package to be installed on you linux server. Let me know your views.
