We need a ticketing system created custom to the needs of our employees' interaction with customers and with each other in several departments. What we need is more or less a ticketing system tied to customer support emails with added features. Ability to categorize tickets, assign to single or multiple team members, personal notes and reminders for each staff members, etc. We have a plan laid out for what we need done. It's just a matter of coding it and implementing the required features. To make matters a tad more complicated, this platform will be a sub-domain of an existing store hosted by bigcommerce.com. Things such as product assignment from the web store shall be integrated with the bigcommerce platform. I have worked on Freelancer for years and hired many people here for several projects, and for a number of businesses I operate. For this project, we are not interested in providing applicants with a challenge... We're after highly qualified applicants, for who, this is not difficult work and can be achieved as expected within a reasonable time frame. Attached you will find a summary of what we require done. Further information will be provided for considered applicants. We need this done in 10 weeks. Not half done or almost done, but ready to use exactly as intended and designed. Chris ++++ I have read everything from the document, as you have very nicely explained all the high level features but I still have couple of questions to ask, when you will initiate the chat, because there is character limitation on this initial message board. I have understood the scope of this project ticketing system & very much interested to work on this website but I have to be honest with you that 10 weeks seems bit tight deadline, because in outsourcing, there are always some rounds of testing/revisions back & forth and communication time. Plus, we must focus on quality of work than rushing the job to complete but yes we can definitely try to deliver you in this timeline, as I will be assigning 3-4 dedicated developers on this project, because it is a big website. Please let me know how do you want to proceed, as I can also give you our team high level understanding paragraph to make sure that we are both on the same page in terms of requirements understanding. Hello Chris, I have gone through project details and attachment, As you mention you need to build a employee Ticketing management system and Integrate with existing Bigcommerce store. I have understand attachment scope of works but I have question on Bigcommerce. Yes I have experience in Bigcommerce and developed 5 store in Bigcommerce but My question is how can u make subdomain in Bigcommerce hosted site ? I think Bigcommerce not provide this type of functionality. can you please confirm this. -> can you please let me know about 10 different type of report and which type of notification will need to send ? Hello Chris, Thanks for sharing your requirement in a very detailed manner. According to my understanding, you would like to implement ticket management system for your website which will provide the facility to the users and service providers to manage the request and inquiries. System has a list of the categories for the inquires and based on that employee users will be assigned to manage the request from the users. All the request in the system will be managed over the email as well for the backup purpose so whenever a revert is provided by the user or services employee both of them get the notification on emails. Moreover, I have few more doubts related to your requirement document and would like to share with you so that you can address them in a detailed manner for clarification. 1. How will you assign the employee to the user ticket or it will be assigned based on the category? 2. Will you be creating the profile of the employee from the backend so are you going to assign the category to them or they will be managed manually? 3. Do we need to bind any other functionality apart from the chat or service employee has the access to request or change the some of condition or user if required? 4. Who has the authority to close the ticket user or service employee? Is there any kind of the information required while closing the ticket? 5. Will you provide the facility for the employee to handover their ticket or other for any specific reason? Thanks Raul
