Correction of a 500 error page in the installation wizard of a commercial script

Its a bug that prevents the installation in our servers of the Bookstore script [login to view URL] The script is bought, but they don't offer support, and the installation process fails in an Internal Server Error page, just after inserting the DB credentials (see attach figure). Tested in a Windows and Unix server, their both failed Since is a commercial script I don't think the problem should be too big. I can supply Plesk or Cpanel login Need someone with PHP or this script knowledge in order to find the bug asap and finish the installation process.
