Hi, I got experience with Azure mobile services. Where you have a centralized sql database in azure, and then a local sqlite in the mobile application. My experience was that the local database could easily get out of sync. I would recommend a database that contains the metadata about the files, but maybe the videos/pictures in azure blob storage for instance.
