Update wordpress and plugins without breaking theme

I need my wordpress blog and plugins all updated to the most recent version. I use a theme called WPRemix (I would prefer someone who is familiar with this theme). You will be giving access to the user forum if you need help with instructions so WPRemix doesn't break. I will expect you to take a full backup of the site incase you run into issues. From what I've read the theme itself requires some tweeking/patches (which you will have access to) so it can be compatible with the newest version of wordpress. English is a 100% must. I will not be interested in bids with low quality scores or low completion scores. A good understanding of .htaccess security will also be beneficial as I've been getting a lot of bots spamming my site.
