Website design and construction

Project Description: I need a web designer to build our website to the specifications supplied below. A significant testing stage will be required. Completion of the project will occur when you have successfully uploaded the website to our website host and everything is working well. Payment milestones at: 1.) 10% on accepting the project; 2.) 30% at testing stage; and 3.) 60% at completion – live and working website. Description: The website will have the specifications detailed in the diagram attached. I am happy for your input, but require these specific capabilities. I have some experience using Joomla, but am happy to use any of the major open source CMS’s. Importantly I require a platform that will allow modifications and expansion at a later stage. The website is an educational website, and must be easy to use, and have a clean and fresh design. But this site is clean and easy to navigate. - [login to view URL] - This is the layout we are after for the two main content pages with tabs. Freelancer Requirements: - Someone who can not only program but can also create a simple and effective UI design. - Someone who has a 4.0 star rating or above. - Someone who has above an 80% completion rate. - Someone who takes pride in their work and makes polished looking products. - Someone who speaks English extremely well. Native preferred Experience: - You must have developed a range of well designed websites using open source CMS’s with current examples to show; - You must obviously be a highly experienced programmer. - You must have experience in the development of integrated ecommerce systems. - You must be able to take the website through to the end. To Avoid any doubt this is a start to finish website development process including an extensive testing phase prior to completion. The brief also includes presenting at least three UI designs and to understand that 'simplicity' and ease of use are the key drivers to a successful website in this market space.
